2025! Here we go! We are PMC Team Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts! This is year number 3! We currently have over 30 riders clipping in on August 2nd and 3rd for the 2 day, 192 mile ride. We all have a connection to cancer. Between our families and our brothers and sisters that we serve our communities with. We are a tight knit group and are proud to represent the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts! Firefighter cancer is at MAX BELLS! With your help, every dollar you donate goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for cancer research for firefighter cancer.
Team PFFM and although in its infancy is determined to expand to include not only our PFFM brothers and sisters, but ANY family member or friend looking to contribute to a great cause (Dana Farber Cancer Center,) while simultaneously honoring those they/we have lost, supporting those who still fight, and spreading awareness about the epidemic of cancer in the fire service. When we ride, the streets are lined with cancer survivors who have been directly affected by the fundraising being done specifically by Pan-Mass Challenge riders. Truly an emotional and inspirational reminder of WHY we ride!
As always, we want to thank President Rich MacKinnon and the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts Executive Board for their trust and support as well as the International Association of Firefighters who are spearheading our fight against Occupational Cancer.
