My name is David Lazzaro and I am Firefighter/Paramedic for the Norwood Fire Dept. I am riding the PMC in honor of my father Paul. My father was an avid triathlete and loved to compete in local and national triathlons including the IRONMAN triathlon at Lake Placid.

He battled Thymoma like a true Ironman, head on and with everything he had! He never let his diagnosis define him and continued to have a smile on his face everyday.

As a firefighter, there are numerous cancer-causing hazards we face everyday. Multiple firefighters and their families are diagnosed with cancer everyday. I am riding with the Professional Firefighters of MA - PMC team. I know my dad will be riding with me with a smile on his face!
