Hello all,

My name is Blake Hery and I will be doing the 2025 Pan-Mass Challenge with Team Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts (PFFM) to raise money for cancer research within our profession! By joining this team, we can allocate the money that goes to Dana-Farber for our cause. Cancer is the leading cause of deaths for Firefighers for the past several years, and a major reason for that is that our bunker gear contain a proven cancer causing agent (PFAS). This is an eye-opening reality and the PFFM is on the frontlines every day fighting to reduce these cancer rates for all Firefighters.

This is my second year doing the PMC and it truly is an amazing event! Last year I completed not only the PMC, but also IRONMAN: Lake Placid which includes a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run in 11 hours and 55 minutes. PMC will be a quasi training ride for me as I will be doing IRONMAN: Chattanooga in September of 2025! Donations of all amount are appreciated and can't wait to get going in Sturbridge!
