This August I will be participating in my 3rd Pan-Mass Challenge. Last year was a huge success and I couldn’t be more excited for this year! I will be riding with firefighters from all over Massachusetts to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute in their fight against cancer.

Cancer has an affect on every single person in this world. Cancer is the leading cause of death in the fire service. Every year more and more people we love receive a cancer diagnosis and it is devastating.

The one thing cancer cannot take from us is hope. The Pan-Mass Challenge is hope. Hope that one day we will find a cure and we will not have to worry about losing our loved ones to cancer.

I believe we are put on earth to make a difference. Last year I saw firsthand just how the Pan-Mass Challenge makes a difference. Please consider donating and together, lets kick cancer’s ass!
