My First PMC Ride – Supporting Firefighters in the Fight Against Cancer

My name is Seamus McComiskey, and I’m a proud firefighter with the Westwood Fire Department. This year, I’ll be taking on my very first Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) — a 186-mile ride over two days, starting August 2nd. I’ll be riding alongside the PMC Team of Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts.

The Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts (PFFM) have partnered with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to create the Direct Connect Program — a vital resource that helps firefighters diagnosed with cancer access the care and support they need. As part of this incredible team and mission, my goal is to raise funds and awareness to support my fellow firefighters in their fight against cancer.

Every dollar I raise goes directly to Dana-Farber and the life-saving work they do. I’m deeply grateful for your support — thank you for being part of this journey with me.
