The PMC has undoubtedly been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It is truly a collaborative community effort to put some good back into the world, and I feel fortunate to be a part of it.

This year, I have the incredible honor of riding on Team Fr3dStrong, in memory of my dear friend Kelly’s dad, Fred Allen. All funds raised through Team Fr3dStrong will support the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center Clinical Trials Fund at Dana Farber. Fred’s legacy will continue to inspire bravery, courage, and hope in all of us.

For the third consecutive year, I will be riding alongside Kelly as we cycle from Wellesley to Bourne on Day 1, and then from Bourne to Provincetown on Day 2, for a total of 162 miles across Massachusetts to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

My Why: to support researchers, oncologists, nurses, and care teams; for friends and families supporting their loved ones with cancer; for those courageously facing their battles against cancer; in honor of cancer survivors; and to remember those we've lost to this disease. To emphasize the strength found in camaraderie, hope, and doing good, which is what the Pan-Mass Challenge is all about.
