Hello and thank you for being here! I am excited to embark on my 3rd year riding and fundraising for the lifechanging Pan-Mass Challenge.

2024 THANK YOU.

Before I share my why, I wanted to extend my deepest thank you to everyone who fundraised with me last year. With the selfless generosity of so many family members, friends, coworkers, and people I'd never met, we raised $14K for cancer research with Dana Farber. The PMC is transformative in many ways - not only via the life-saving research it fuels, but also by showing us how GOOD and KIND this world can be. I am immensely blessed to be a part of this experience and to have so many wonderful, generous people in this life.

WHY I RIDE.

I ride this year as I have the past 2 for my Dad, my hero, Fred Allen - the strongest man I'll ever know. The past 2 years I rode in honor of Dad and was blessed to have him at the finish line. This year, I am riding in Dad's memory. He was granted eternal peace in November after a heroic 2 year battle, 40+ rounds of chemo, without a single complaint against Pancreatic Cancer. His grit, hope, and dedication to see each and every new day that he could will inspire me for the rest of my life.

Now, it's my turn to fight back in his memory: and to turn my grief into something he'd be proud of.

This year, I started team Fr3dStrong in Dad's memory. Our inaugural team will ride bikes across MA in August and fundraise directly towards Pancreatic Cancer research in Dad's name. Pancreatic cancer is insidious and nearly impossible to detect early - but I have hope (and so did Dad) that through research like this, we'll live to see a day where that's not the case. I love you forever, Dad. Thank you for inspiring my ride - I'll never stop fighting back for you.

This August, I will ride my first 2-day ride 160+ miles from Wellesley to Provincetown. I'll ride alongside my brother Patrick Allen; my best friend, Lizzy Russell; and for the first time: with my uncle, Bill Allen - PMC veteran (and my fundraising hero!) who's returning after a few years off to ride with us in memory of Dad.

Words cannot express how much even a $1 donation towards my ride means to me (and my family).
