I participate in the PMC in memory of my husband Rick who died in 2010 from brain cancer. Diagnosed with a brain tumor on his 44th birthday, he fought a brave 6-year battle with strength and grace but died just weeks after his 50th. His death affected all who knew this funny gentle giant but none more than our 4 sons. Rick was not there for the high school graduation of 2 of our sons, all their college graduations, first jobs, weddings and birth of grandkids. I hope by raising money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute others with this terrible diagnosis can live longer, healthier lives alongside their families.

Having been a part of the PMC for the past few years, I see more and more the tangible results of what the money raised has done to further cancer research and care. The advances in treatments now, versus when we lost Rick 15 years ago, I believe would have greatly extended his life. I hope by participating in this event to … raise money … to fund cancer research … to improve/extend the lives of all those affected by cancer. I also ride in support/honor/memory of all the loved ones listed below.

100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. Every donation, no matter how small, brings them closer to this goal. With everyone's help Together, we will get closer by the mile to a world without cancer.
