I’m thrilled to be taking part in the Pan-Mass Challenge this year, cycling 186 miles over 2 days to raise money for cancer research and treatment. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment, and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the top cancer care hospitals in the country, right here in Boston.

If you’ve heard of the PMC and their mission, it’s likely because they raise more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. Pretty incredible.

Last year alone, the PMC raised $75 million for Dana Farber. Of that, just over 25% of funds raised went to pediatric oncology, something that hits especially close to home for me as a new father. Cancer has affected us all in some way or another. Through the PMC, you can clearly see the impact your donation makes, funding everything from cutting edge research to critical patient support services. It’s inspiring stuff and I encourage you to read more about their mission.

I’ll be joining The Midnight Riders team for my inaugural ride – the team has been in existence for over 20 years and they’re nearing $1.5 million collectively raised to help fund groundbreaking cancer research – truly incredible and I’m honored to be riding with them.

100% of the funds raised go directly to Dana Farber. Cancer funding is never guaranteed and lately, at risk. Charitable events, like the PMC, are so important… their impact is real.
