Dear Family, Friends, and Loved Ones,

Thank you for coming to my PMC fundraising page. This is my 17th year raising money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute through the PMC. In 2023 I crossed the lifetime $100,000 fundraising mark and I couldn’t have done it without you, thank you! As a family, the six of us (that would be Amie, Alex, JJ, Tobie, Andrew and me) have participated in the PMC 62 times since Amie & I started back in 2007 and we have raised over $324 thousand dollars for the fight against cancer. Even bigger than our family contribution is that this year the PMC will break the ONE BILLION DOLLAR fundraising mark! Just imagine all the lives impacted by that kind of charity.

Amie and I started riding in 2007, the year after she received her cancer diagnosis. She rode for nine years and broke her own $100,000 fundraising mark the year after she lost that fight. Now I ride to honor her memory and her work with the PMC. I also ride to honor the memory of both of my parents, Barbara & Shep White, my father-inlaw, Lenny Shapiro, and too many other relatives and friends..

100% of PMC rider raised money is donated to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The DFCI leads the world in collaborative cutting edge research and treatment. As a direct result of the work at the DFCI cancer survival rates have dramatically increased all over the world.
