I'm a proud supporter of the PMC. It is a leading charge to beat cancer. Every year 100% of rider-raised revenue directly supports the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. You can be assured that your contribution will be used for cancer research and care for cancer patients.
Now my second ride, I am especially dedicating this ride to my Nana, Nancy Ann. In November 2018, she was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent successful surgery. With her strong faith and a great medical team, she showed strength and determination to beat her cancer. Unfortunately, in May of 2020, her cancer returned. She passed away in September. Nana was an amazing grandmother and a shining light to all.
I am riding the Wellesley to Wellesley route on August 8th with my Aunt Jennie. Our team page, River Road Crusaders Against Cancer, is here: http://profile.pmc.org/TR0208. We ride in living proof of many others impacted by cancer, especially my Aunt Sue and my great Uncle Bill Jacobs.
I know that everyone has a story about or connection with cancer, and we hope that someday through all our efforts, these stories will be a distant memory. I participate in the PMC to honor those fighting cancer and in memory of those who lost the battle. Please help us to raise funds so that research and support for cancer and cancer patients can continue. Donating is easy; just click on one of the red donate buttons. If you prefer, you may send or give a check made out to the PMC to me.
Thank you for your support!
