Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud rider in the Pan-Mass Challenge - a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. This important fund raiser brings us 'Closer by the Mile' to a cure for cancer.
PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals. My PMC ride and the generous donations from my friends and family help me support the search for cures for cancer.
100 percent of every dollar I raise goes directly to Dana-Farber, meaning that your donation has a real impact!
During my 2-day 200 mile ride, I will be thinking about all the friends and family, past and present, that have dealt with cancer. They and you will be close to my heart during my quest to reach the P-town finish line!
