Welcome to my annual Pan-Mass Challenge Donation site. I'm a proud supporter of the PMC (PAN-MASS CHALLENGE) because it is leading a charge to beat cancer.
I am riding this year in special memory of a dear friend that I never got to say goodbye to, Emily (Gaynor) Rothman. Emily is only one of the many that left us all here way before her time! We have all been touched / hurt as we witness the devastating effects of CANCER?
100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure and 100% of every person you know has been affected by these terrible diseases! Too many that I've known and too many that I know are fighting their personal battles with various types of cancer.
The PMC is the single largest fundraiser for the Dana Farber Institute's battle to research and find a cure to ALL types of cancer. Last year, even during the lockdown days of COVID, the PMC contributed 64 MILLION dollars to Dana Farber's cause and with your help we will go beyond this lofty goal! The 2022 PMC will be my very first time expiriencing this grand event; COVID put a little damper on this for the past two years and this year it is time to ride! We riders in the 2022 PMC revel in breaking reocrds and that is exactly what we will do with your help this year
This ride will be my largest fund-raising effort for one of the biggest battles the human world needs to fight (and someday conquer). This will be my contribution toward the goal of eliminating CANCER; won't you help me fight the fight with a contribution toward my goal? No contribution is too small, certainly none too large either! My goal is to raise $10,000.00 and I am running out of time! LOL
I have committed to riding 192 miles as well as stating a pledge amount (that I must pay, if I do not raise this amount); perhaps you will join me via a donation, or perhaps even become a virtual rider?
Thank You in advance for your help!
Respectfully,
Walter T. Shanley, Jr.
