I'm proud to again this year be taking part in the Pan Mass Challenge, an incredible event that is helping to lead the charge to beat cancer. Every year since 1989 the PMC has dontated 100% of rider-raised revenue directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. In fact, this year the PMC will likley break the 1 Billion Dollar mark in money raised and donated. For the second year in a row I will be riding as a part of the Pedals For Pediatrics Team whose mission is to ease the burden of childhood cancer with every mile ridden and every dollar raised. While my family has been blessed in that we have never had to face a cancer diagnosis directly, my wife Eileen, who has been a Registered Nurse at the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund Clinic for the past 15 years, and my daughter Grace, a nurse at Children's Hospital with on the Bone Marrow Transplant Floor, have seen first hand the incredible impact of the funds raised by the PMC. It is the stories of survival and hope that motivate me to be a part of this amazing event.
