2021 is my 31st PMC year and the PMC’s 42nd!  I have been blessed riding 12 of those years with Cindy on our tandem and 2 years with our son, Brett. Cecily and Cindy have also volunteered many other years. I continue to ride for my sister Sally and cousin Bob Redfern who we lost to cancer, as well as for all of our many friends and family who have been affected by cancer.

I will not be riding this year due to the logistical challenges, but I am committed to raising my share for the PMC.  Both Brett and Cecily were planning on coming in from California to ride, but the logistics would have been way too challenging! While many are not riding this year, cancer continues to devastate our friends and family.  The need to raise money for cancer research and the Dana Farber Cancer Research Center is still critical.  Last year, as you likely know, we raised an unbelievable $52,000,000 during a pandemic and with no physical event!  That is an amazing accomplishment all because of your dedication to support us and Dana Farber. THANK YOU so much.

Thanks to you, I have raised over $730,000 over my 30 years, of which 100% went directly to Dana Farber for cancer research to help beat this horrible disease. My goal this year is $10,000.  Over the 42 years, the PMC has donated over $760 million to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute…unprecedented and truly amazing.  Incredible goals and accomplishments.
