I’m excited to share that Eltiena and I will be participating again in this year’s Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC).
We'll be riding in memory of Russ Sample, Eltiena's dad, who we lost to cancer in 2018. Among his many passions in life, Russ was an avid cyclist. He enjoyed cycling on the bike paths of Holland, Killington VT and Sun Valley Idaho.
The PMC is a Boston area bike-a-thon that raises funds for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dana-Farber has been recognized as one of the top three cancer centers in the world. 100% of rider-raised funds goes to Dana Farber.
The event will be held from Aug 2-3, and the 186 mile course is known as the Sturbridge to Provincetown Monument Route. It’s a two day ride from the hills of Central Mass to the very tip of Cape Cod.
Every dollar raised goes directly to Dana-Farber, where it fuels groundbreaking research, provides vital patient care, and supports innovative programs that benefit both children and adults battling cancer. Your contribution, no matter the size, will have a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by this devastating illness.
We invite you to make a donation - together, we can help bring hope to patients and families facing cancer and work towards a future free of this disease.
Thank you for your support and generosity. Let’s ride together towards a world without cancer!
