Why I Ride ...
Nine years ago I decided to join my younger brother Tom, a two time cancer survivor, in my first PMC ride. At that time my decision was primarily based on my love and support for Tom. Since then there have been too many family members, friends and aquaintences that have been impacted by cancer. Over this time my devotion to ride (in both the PMC and the American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon) and train is driven by the stories I hear nearly every week. My focus is to remain committed to my brother, mother, friends, and colleagues in this battle of eradicating cancer from all of our lives. We must pedal on.
I am a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading the charge to beat cancer. In fact, 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
