Year 2 - For Julia!
On Saturday August 2nd, I’ll begin the 2-Day, 162-mile bike ride from Wellesley to Provincetown in support of Cancer Research. I’m fortunate enough to be able to ride with Team Martignetti again this year, and even more fortunate to be able to ride alongside my Mom as she rides her 13th PMC.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, more than $1 billion since 1980 and $75 million in 2024 alone! This success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about, a cure. And because every penny matters, 100 percent of your donation goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Let’s face it, whether directly or indirectly, just about everybody has been affected by Cancer. For me, I have watched several close family members, friends, and friends’ families deal directly with this horrible disease.
This year, Julia Marino, a daughter of a dear friend of mine, has begun her battle with Hodgkin Lymphoma. So this year, I'm dedicating my ride to Julia, and all of those like her, who bravely face this disease head on.
I've made a personal commitment to ride PMC 2025 and set a goal to raise $7,500.00. I would truly appreciate you supporting this great cause with a donation of any amount.
Please reach out to me directly if you have any questions about donating, as there are many ways to do so.
Thank you in advance for your support in my ride and towards this incredible cause. Who knows, maybe next year I can even talk you into doing the ride with me!
