I’m riding in the Pan Mass Challenge to support my girlfriend’s younger brother Brent, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at just 2 years old. His experience, strength, and resilience, along with the support of his family, has been an incredibly powerful source of motivation to ride for this cause. Riding is my way of honoring his fight and contributing to a future where more people have the chance to overcome cancer, just like he did.

I’m also riding in celebration of my grandfather, who was recognized as the oldest rider in the PMC. While he hasn’t faced cancer himself, his dedication to this cause and his ongoing commitment to the ride, at now 88 years old, have deeply inspired me. Following in his footsteps is a privilege.

This ride is personal. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come, how far we have to go, and the power of showing up—for family, for fighters, and for progress.
