This is our 6th year riding the PMC and we ride in honor of Tyler Principe (15) who was diagnosed with a rare form of Hodgkins Lymphoma on February 7, 2017. Thankfully Tyler's prognosis was favorable and his oncology team at Dana-Farber acted swiftly to create a treatment plan for him. His surgery and subsequent chemotherapy program were successful in treating him and we're forever thankful for the care he received from Dana-Farber. They are truly wonderful and caring people.
Six years later - Tyler is doing great. He's a rising freshman in high school, continuing with his passion for playing soccer, golf, skiing and many other activities. We have our annul check-ups with his team at DFCI and they are really pleased with how well he's doing.
We hope you will join us in supportinging this great organization. All of Team Tyler's donations will be directed to the The Pediatric Oncology Fund at Dana-Farber, where we hope to have a greater impact on the lives of other children like Tyler.
For those less familiar, the Pan Mass Challenge is a two-day, 191 mile, bike-a-thon spanning Sturbridge to Provincetown. It is consistently the single largest athletic fundraising event in the US. With over 6,000 riders, the PMC has raised over $767 million since it’s inception in 1980. Due to the generosity of many sponsors and volunteers, 100% of these rider-raised dollars go directly to support adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
We greatly appreciate you supporting us, supporting Tyler and supporting Dana-Farber!
