This weekend, I will be participating in my first Pan-Mass Challenge, a Massachusetts bike-a-thon that raises more money for cancer research than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country. The PMC has raised $900 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since its launch in 1980, and this year I will ride 167 miles over two days from Wellesley to Provincetown.

This cause is especially important to me - I’ve experienced firsthand the impact that the battle with cancer has on individuals and their families. I am proud to be riding alongside Team Next Generation, a group that has raised over $1 million since its inception, on behalf of King Gaylor, a 5-year-old battling Leukemia. The lives of King and countless loved ones have been positively impacted due to the immeasurable sacrifice of doctors, the Pan-Mass Challenge and the generosity of donors.
