This August will be 10 years since I lost my father, Tom Svirsky to his fight with lung cancer. I decided to ride this year to honor him and to raise money for Dana Farber, where he had received treatment. Growing up, my father and I spent most of our free time fishing on the Owe’ Geezus, but occasionally would go on bike rides when I was a kid at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport, MA. I will be riding across Massachusetts, from Sturbridge, MA to Provincetown, MA over two days (186 miles total). My goal is to fundraise $6,000 for a cause that is near and dear to my family and myself. Any dollar amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated as well as any well wishes as I train and ride.

I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
