I need your help in fighting cancer!

For the sixth straight year I will be participating in the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC).  I will be riding my bike 192 miles during the first weekend in August to help raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  I’m hoping you can support me by making a donation to this important cause.  The money is needed for cancer care and research and I really hope you can help.  My team, Team ZipCar, which consists of 23 other riders, will leave Sturbridge at 6:00 am Saturday morning and ride to Bourne (111 miles), where we’ll spend the night in a tent at Mass Maritime.  Sunday morning we will ride to Provincetown (81 miles).

The PMC is the single largest contributor to the Jimmy Fund at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with 100% of all funds raised going directly to the cause.  Not one cent of each dollar raised through riders' sweat and determination will be used for administrative and organizational expenses. Many of us donate money to charities and the PMC is the charity that I have chosen to dedicate my energies.  Cancer doesn't discriminate.  Some of my teammates have lost family members and loved ones to cancer.  Some of are cancer survivors.  Unfortunately, odds are really good that you will know someone who will be or has been impacted.

In order to participate, I must raise $4,200.  My training begins this weekend and I anticipate putting forth a lot of hard work to meet my goal.  All I need from you is a donation.  Any amount is appreciated.
