On February 24, 2024 at 2:20pm, my mom, brother, sister, and I sat by my dad’s side as he passed away at home, surrounded by love, after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Losing my dad has been the greatest challenge my family has ever faced. And sadly, too many families know the pain of cancer—the endless doctor visits, grueling chemo sessions, the heart-wrenching physical decline, and the helplessness that comes with watching a loved one slip away.
But together, we can fight back.
That’s why I’m riding 162 miles in the Pan-Mass Challenge on August 2nd and 3rd, in honor of my dad. Alongside my aunt, Megan Rising and Team Perry, we’re raising critical funds for stomach cancer research at the Dana Farber Institute, helping patients live longer, fuller lives and fueling the search for a cure.
My goal: Raise $10,000 before August 2nd. Every single donation—big or small—brings us closer to saving another family from this devastating loss.
No donation is too small. Every dollar helps give families more time with the people they love.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your support.
