I continue to be a proud member of Team Samantha as I ride to support our family and friends who have been impacted by, are currently dealing with, or have conquered cancer. Funds raised by me will be directed to the Samantha T. Janower Low-Grade Astrocytoma Research Fund, which focuses on pediatric brain tumors. Samantha is an incredibly inspiring young woman, a proud UPenn graduate, and a 4'9 powerhouse who exhibits resilience, empathy, and a strong moral compass. I am honored to ride for Team Samantha, to know Samantha, and call her parents, AJ and Cindy, friends for many years now.

In 2010, I lost my oldest brother, James, at 56, to a brain tumor. I have had other close friends who have passed from cancer, and several who are tackling cancer now with ground-breaking immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. Thankfully, I have many friends who have overcome cancer and are thriving. The advances in research are swift, remarkable, and meaningful. There can never be enough funding to continue to advance life-saving research efforts.
