I'm a proud participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge - a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country - to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer.
Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals. My PMC is making a difference in the lives of patients at Dana-Farber and around the world. The funds I raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.
100 percent of every dollar I raise goes directly to Dana-Farber, meaning that your donation has a real impact!
PMC is a 160 mile bike “race” from Boston to Provincetown, MA. I am riding in memory of Anthony Moulton, who passed away two years ago after a 10 month battle with brain cancer. For everyone who knew Anthony, you knew him to be full of life, an avid biker (remember those legs?!), and a lover of Provincetown. PMC is the perfect way to honor Anthony and raise money for an organization trying to help others with similar cancers as him.
My minimum fundraising is $6,000, but I hope to blow the top off of that goal. Anthony’s memory is worth it! Please consider any size donation.
The race is August 2 and 3. For anyone who can join me in Provincetown to celebrate the finish, I would love to see you there. Also, a big thanks to Derek Marks for riding with me.
Thank you in advance,
Travis
