Dear Friends & Family,

I'm happy to announce that , yes, I'm still at it and planning to ride in my 27th straight Pan Massachusetts Challenge on Aug 3 & 4, joined by some great friends, plus TWO of my kids, OIivia (21) and Quinn (24). This will be Quinn's 7th PMC and Olivia's first! We will be riding 162 miles over 2 days from Wellesley to Provincetowen, MA. A photo of us on a training ride is attached!

As always, the money our 20+ person “Team Perini”, raises will support an amazing clinic at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute called The David B. Perini Jr. Quality of Life Clinic, named after my brother who died of a rare cancer in 1990 at age 26. Since 1991, Team Perini has raised over $6M for the Clinic, which supports cancer survivors who had the disease as children and are facing the long-term physical and mental effects of their treatments. Now in its 31st year of operation, the Clinic's steadfast mission continues strong: To improve the long-term health and well-being of childhood cancer survivors and to maximize their quality of life (click link for info about the Clinic's amazing work). In addition to all cancer patients and survivors out there, I will ride for our beautiful Jimmy Fund “Pedal Partner”, Poppy, now 11 years old and a patient of the DBP Jr. Quality of Life Clinic! We also welcome Geoffrey to our team. Not only is he riding for the first time, but he is a Clinic patient as well!

This summer, the PMC announced that it reached the astounding fundraising milestone of $1 BILLION since its founding in 1980, with this year's goal alone being $75 MILLION. That means a lot of riders, a lot of sweat and grit, and many many generous people opening their wallets to beat this disease.
