This summer, I will ride in my fourth Pan Mass Challenge. I'm not quite a veteran of the event, but I'm beginning to feel like it's now a part of my life, an annual event. With you and others, we've raised over $17,500 together. On August 4th, my lifetime fundraising will be over $20,000 and the PanMass Challenge will top $1 billion.
Each of my rides has been special. My first ride, virtual because of COVID, was the first time I rode 100 miles. For my second ride, we added an extra day, starting in New York State and ending at the tip of Cape Cod, with 6,500 other riders. Last year was my daughter Chase's first ride, she was a rock star. And this year, I will be joined by my five St. Lawrence University roommates, the first PMC for four of them. And of course, this will be my fourth ride with Lizzie cheering me on, the true inspiration for me to become a PMC rider.
As an annual PMC rider, I have been greatly encouraged by your generous contributions. I hope you will continue to support the PMC and cancer research at DFCI. 100 percent of your donation goes to Dana-Farber's cancer research center, so every dollar donated goes directly to DFCI and their partners..
Thank you for your support in the past and I hope you will consider making a donation to my ride this summer.
