Why I Ride ...
Evan Timothy was courageous, strong and remained positive and happy through his year-long ordeal with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. He never complained about how he felt or about spending countless hours and miles in the car on the way to New York City or Boston for clinical treatments. I hope to capture some of Evan's strength as I train and ride in the PMC.
The PMC is leading a charge to beat cancer. Last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's commitment to finding a cure. I want to help research teams find a cure to this horrific disease and ensure no family has to go through what our family experienced.
In this eighth year as a rider our Evan's Crew team is close to raising $1 MILLION in support of new clinical trials and research through the Evan T. Mandeville DIPG Research Fund.
