Why I Ride ...
Like last year, I am a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s tireless commitment to finding a cure. I’m riding in the PMC (PAN-Mass Challenge) on August 3rd, 2025, and I’ve made a personal commitment to raise $2000 or what I can for this cause. Some of you may or may not know, I am a patient at Dana-Farber for acute myeloid leukemia. Due to the efforts of the Doctors, Nurses, and Researchers, my cancer is currently in remission. I hope, (hope is not a strategy) know, that I can count on your support in any shape or form, as I fundraise for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This year, I will be riding in support of our new Pedal Partner Emma, who is a pediatric cancer patient at Dana Farber.
The Pan-Mass Challenge raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. Since 1980, the PMC has raised over $1 billion and $75 million in 2024 alone!. This success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about a cure. And because every penny matters, 100 percent of your donation goes to Dana-Farber, a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research. If you can donate that’s WICKED, if you can’t then just send those good VIBES that you all have over the past year plus!
Thank you,
Thom
