Now, more than ever, support for cancer research is imperative.
Hi everyone,
Politics aside, I think we can agree that cutting millions of dollars in federal funding for cancer research is a bad thing.
That money literally drives the science that saves lives. For all of us who’ve lost loved ones to cancer, that’s not politics; that’s personal. And that’s why we do what we do. The PMC is the largest single contributor to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Dana-Farber is one of the leading contributors to cancer research and treatment.
Sadly, this year, cancer hit close to home again. In August, I’ll be riding in memory of our dear friend, Dave, who passed away in September. I’ll be keeping Cindy, my step-mom, and Susan, a family friend, in my thoughts as I ride. (Thankfully, both of them are responding well to treatment.)
You and I have made an incredible difference together over these past 25 years. I hope you’re as proud of that as I am.
Thank-you for being with me on this journey; especially now when support for this research is more critical than ever.
If you’re able, please go to PMC.org and search for ‘ted lewis’ to support my ride. 100% of your donation goes directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Thank-you,
Ted
