This ride is for my dad - my role model, and my greatest source of strength. He faced pancreatic cancer with courage and dignity, and even in the hardest moments, his kindness, wisdom, and quiet resilience never went unnoticed.

To honor his memory and the impact he had on everyone lucky enough to know him, I’m taking on this cycling challenge to raise funds for Dana Farber Cancer Institute. It's a cause deeply personal to me—because I want to help others have a fighting chance. Every mile I ride is for him. Every donation brings us one step closer to earlier detection, better treatment, and ultimately, a cure.

The Pan-Mass Challenge is a two-day cycling event from Wellsley to Borne, Borne to Province town totaling 161 miles. With this year’s goal of 76 million it raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country - to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer.

Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals. My PMC is making a difference in the lives of patients at Dana-Farber and around the world. The funds I raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.
