I am very excited to ride my fourth two-day, 186 mile PMC this upcoming August with Team Takeda Oncology! The mission of PMC is simple, to raise funds for cancer research and treatment through the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, but the end goal is complex: find a cure for cancer. I am dedicating my ride in honor of individuals whose lives have been compromised by this disease. My grandfather passed away from cancer before I was born, and my grandmother had a radical mastectomy to abate her breast cancer. Longtime family friend, Greg, is currently battling cancer and we are optomisic about his recovery due to the crucial medical research conducted on cancer.
