Thank you for visiting Team Dragonfly's Profile Page! My name is Laura Etre. After I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2016 I became enamored of dragonflies. One of my dearest friends sent me a care package early on, which included a lovely dragonfly wind chime and a note expressing hope that I would be able to conjur up my inner dragonfly as I moved through treatment. Dragonflies are known for their wisdom, effortless power, and ability to adapt and transform in the face of challenge. Team Dragonfly was developed with this same intention in mind. Our team includes family members (law firm family included!) and old friends, and is a nice mix of veteran heavy hitters and newbies like myself. We are going to have a lot of fun and raise money for an incredible institution at the same time.

We're proud supporters of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
