Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I will be riding in Memory of my father, Andrew "Andy" Dominick Jr. who died December 8, 2010 from a cancerous tumor in his throat that later spread to his lungs. I will also be riding for those friends and other family members who are fighting or have fought the cancer battle and are currently cancer free. There are too many of you...and unfortuately the list keeps growing.
My father's treatment and care at Dana-Farber and Brigham and Women's hospitals was excellent - all the staff were a pleasure to work with, and the experience could not have been better...thanks...keep up the good work for all of those that need the care.
2013 will be my third 2 day 192 mile ride - and I just can't wait. Last year was an unbelieveable experience...and I have signed up for this journey. Fundraising is a challenge, and I can't thank you enough for helping support the cause. I will once again host a comedy and silent auction night at Mile Marker One under our new Event Tent. The date is set for Thursday, July 11, 2013. If you would like to donate to the silent auction please let me know - all is welcome and most appreciated. I hope you can make it for a very fun evening!
Live well,
Tobin
