This year is different. Rebecca and I planned to ride in our second Pan-Mass Challenge to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, but, like so many things, the two-day event has been cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yet, this year is the same. Cancer continues on. No breaks. I've promised to raise at least $5500 and while the PMC has waived this minimum fee, I'd still like to make it happen with your help.
Why I ride:
For my dad.
Two years ago he was still playing soccer. On Thursday, July 23rd 2020 he passed away surrounded by family just as he wanted.
Thanks to the PMC 100% of every penny raised goes to Dana Farber and can be used to help fund research. And research is how treatments and cures are found and the gift of time is given. When you love someone as much as I love my dad, giving the gift of time is one of the most generous thing you can do.
Please donate what you can. No amount is too small.
Thank you - so much.
