Why I ride
I will be riding the 2024 Pan Mass Challenge August 3rd and 4th http://www.pmc.org/ to support my family and friends that have battled cancer. My mother, sister, brother-in-law, extended family members and friends that have fought cancer are my inspiration to join others to ride and help raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I will be riding the Wellesley to Provincetown PMC route over the course of the two days in August.
I will again be riding as a member of Team Will Power which was formed to remember a close friend and fellow youth hockey coach, John Willett. John passed way in the Summer of 2016 after a long and courageous battle against Melanoma. John was a very dedicated and enthusiastic Duxbury Youth Hockey and Duxbury Youth Lacrosse coach and father, who spent countless hours coaching his children, as well as many other Duxbury children. John’s positive, calm and respectful demeanor was an example to his players and fellow coaches.
Please consider helping me and my fellow riders support the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the fight against cancer by donating to my ride or to Team Will Power.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
