I am riding in memory of my dear friend Vanessa and with Team Mo-Mentum because my college roommate Maura is a survivor and my father is a survivor - both living proof that with enough support we can beat cancer.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I will ride 77 miles (124km) from Bourne, Massachusetts, USA to Provincetown, MA alongside Maura and the rest of Team Mo-Mentum (including two other college roommates, Katie and Lizzie) on August 7th. I rode 109km in Cape Town South Africa in March of this year so hopefully I am ready for this next challenge, but i know that the support of my family and friends will get me there.
I would be ever so grateful if you would join me in supporting this very worthy cause raising funds to support cancer reasearch and support services through the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Thank you for your support.
Trish
THE PMC DONATES 100% OF EVERY RIDER-RAISED DOLLAR TO DANA-FARBER CANCER INSTITUTE THROUGH ITS JIMMY FUND.
Founded in 1980, the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) is an annual bike-a-thon that today raises more money for charity than any other single event in the United States.
