I am riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge in memory of my wife, Laurie Axner, who passed away in 2019 after a three-year battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston is making great strides in cancer treatment and it is critical that we continue to support these efforts. Cancer affects everyone in one way or another, but the good news is that we are making progress. I have spent countless hours at Dana-Farber and can say with total confidence that anything you can give will be put to good use in helping to eradicate this deadly disease.
