Why I Ride ...
I'm both honored and humbled to ride the PMC again in 2024!
Since my ride last year, I have sadly lost more friends and family to cancer. I also know more people who struggle through chemo and radiation as they fight their individual battles against this formidable foe. Yet some giant steps have been made and continue to be made every day because of the generosity of people like you.
The Cancer Moonshot - a multibillion dollar initiative aiming to cut cancer deaths in half and reduce the racial disparities that inhibit access to high quality care - has made pioneering research and exciting new treatments available to more patients. The article linked below describes the vision and purpose of this ambitious initiative as well as the role of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in realizing this vision.

I feel honored to be riding PMC and supporting the incredible work that the DFCI does every day. My ride on August 3rd is but a baby step toward a cure yet with your support we can - and will - make a difference.
Thank you in advance for anything you can contribute to fuel my ride and support the Dana Farber Cancer Center!
With gratitude,
Susie
