Last November our new life began when my wife, Sara, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer… It began with many new friends (doctors)… adventures (radiation)… and routines (medications)…. This journey wouldn’t be possible without Dana-Farber… The team at DF literarily took us by the hand the first day, walked us through the diagnosis, the schedule of treatment and options for medications for controlling the cancer and pain. We owe so much to the dedication and professionalism of these individuals and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
It takes a team to challenge cancer… our team, TEAM “Sara Smile”, is made up of myself, Micheal (my stepson) and Kevin (my son-in-law)… together we’ve been training for months to cycle in the Pan-Mass Challenge on August 2nd and 3rd to raise money to beat cancer, 100% of rider-raised revenue go directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
We are riding for our family and friends along with yours who have had to challenge cancer… please donate to keep up the momentum to beat cancer!
