I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. Cancer impacts everyone- our family, our friends, our coworkers. As cancer permeates much of our lives, I joined this Pan-Mass Challenge to face it head on through fund raising and awareness.
I look forward to riding the 50 miles to challenge myself and to take on the fundraising activities, riding alongside coworkers and other riders who strive for the same impact. I love living and working in Massachusetts, staying close to family and friends. It is because of instituitions like DFCI as to why this is a great place to live and I am thankful each day to have grown up here.
I hope that this event sparks interest in others to not only support a great cause, but to get on their bikes, or try something new! My Dad is an avid rider and he goes biking nearly every day, I hope to get to his level! His joy of biking and stories of biking across country have inspired me to give this new pursuit a go.
Thank you in advance to those who may wish to donate through my page here, or for others who simply learned something new about DFCI, the PMC, or me!
