This August, I will be participating in the Pan Mass Challenge for my first time, alongside the Blackdog Builders team. When our company decided to get a group together for the ride, I immediately knew this was something I wanted to be a part of. I am no cyclist, but the challenge of 77 miles or any amount of miles, will never compare to the challenges faced by cancer patients and their loved ones every day.

I will be training for, riding, and completing the PMC in honor of my Aunty Nancy, a cancer survivor, and my Nana Rose, a 3 time cancer survivor. Cancer fundraising, research, and treatment has directly affected our family, and I believe the PMC is truly making a difference towards those things. I want to ride to remind people to give and be apart of that difference. Life means nothing without giving. Our time spent with our family and loved ones is worth more than anything else.
