2025 marks the last year the PMC will be leaving from Sturbridge MA. This is the town where my sister Cindy lives and who first crushed this 2 day ride in 2017. She has ridden with both her sons (Michael and Nathaniel) on multiple years. She has participated every year since 2013 as either a rider or volunteer and is always a generous donor as well. She (and her boys) are a big part of my inspiration for this ride.
This year I ride with Team FORZA-G, combining our efforts to raise even more dollars!
I ride for my mom who we lost to breast cancer at the too young age of 65. If she were still here she would be my most vocal supporter, just like she was at my little league games out on Brookview Road. I ride for my trusted friend Tom Curran (lost to cancer in 2023). I ride for my uncle Dick (lost to cancer in 1991) and my car repair mentor Dave Stomper Sukup (lost to cancer in 2011), I ride for my shared birthday next door neighbor, creative mentor and lifelong dear friend Bobby Dudley (lost to cancer in 2017).
I ride for survivors of cancer including my sister Chris, my brother in law Dave (Cindy's husband), his brother Brian (still struggling), my father in law Don, and I ride for my friend Jen Nadya Schober who is just at the beginning stages of her battle against cancer as we speak.
Count the people in your life that this terrible disease has impacted in all of its forms. It is up to us people!
I need your financial help to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 100% of every dollar raised by riders goes directly towards funding cancer research, treatment and care.
I love you all! Thank you for your support.
