2024 will be the year the Pan Mass Challenge surpasses the One Billion Dollar mark in funds raised. A truly historic feat and I'm happy to have been apart of it for 21 years. Since its inaugural ride in 1980, when it raised just over ten thousand dollars, the PMC has consistently raised critical funds for Dana-Farber, totaling an astounding $972 million. Those dollars have played pivotal roles in cancer research and treatment that has affected every single one of us and our families over the past 44 years.
I will be riding two days again but with a twist, Day 1 will be in August for the traditional Cape Cod 80 mile ride and day 2 will be in September, in Stockbridge Massachusetts for a 60 mile gravel ride through the Berkshires into New York and back. The PMC is expanding it's reach with new rides and events to raise money for Dana Farber.
Over the course of the past 21 rides I have raised over $130,000 for Dana Farber and have set a goal of $10,000 for 2024. Please click here to contribute: https://egifts.pmc.org/SS0089. Lastly I also ride on behalf of my incredible wife Patti, Ralph Harriman, Julie Gallagher, Jeff Brooks, Cindy Spittel, Charlie Spittel, Paul Vigeant, Steve Meissner, Joan Meissner, Cliff Blacker, Chris Penne, and in memory of my Dad, Uncle Harry Uhlman, Mark Kourey, Billy Daily, Kent Hallamore, Richard Bertram, Stephan Laroche, Barry Shea, Mary Coveney, Jimmy Langmeyer and Pat Stedman.
