I am excited to announce I will be riding the Pan Mass Challenge, AGAIN!! On the first weekend in August, I will cycle from Sturbridge, MA to Provincetown, MA alongside thousands of other riders to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I cannot express enough gratitude for your generosity last year, and it is my hope that you will consider donating to this incredible and important cause and support me on my ride again!

In one weekend, PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country: Over one billion dollars total since 1980 and $75 million in 2024 alone! This success is the result of a lot of people like us riding for, giving to, and caring about a cure. And because each penny matters, every rider-raised dollar goes directly to Dana-Farber.

Last year was my FIRST time tackling the PMC, but I took on this physical and mental challenge because it is a cause that matters. I was humbled to play a part in the event (and by all of the hills) and honored by my small role in supporting Dana Farber. Cancer affects everyone, and I have seen the work that Dana-Farber does to change that firsthand.

In the spring of 2022, my boyfriend’s father, Abraham Ghebremichael, began treatment at Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center in Boston. Throughout his time there, the doctors and nurses provided expert, compassionate care and saw him and his family through both their year-long battle with cancer and the loss of their beloved patriarch. Dana-Farber continues to help loving, hurting families like the Ghebremichaels, all while advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer and related diseases.

I am honored to ride in celebration of those who have won, in support of those who are fighting, and in memorial of those we've lost.

In my gallery, you will find photos of two of the many people who inspired me to ride: my wonderful, cancer-surviving grandmother, who is now fighting her second battle with the disease, Carol Traenkle, and the beloved, late Abraham Ghebremichael.
