Why I Ride ...
This is my 27th year of participating in the PMC ride. So many of my friends and relatives have been touched by cancer that it is impossible for me to single out just one to whom to dedicate my ride; I ride for all those who have sufferred and survived, or have sadly lost the battle to this terrible disease. The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber are leading the charge to beat cancer in our lifetime. So much has been achieved through their research and treatment ... but there are still so many hurdles to overcome. The PMC boasts that 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund/Dana-Farber ... that is an encouraging statistic, and kudos to the many volunteers, both individuals and corporations, who make the PMC ride possible through their donations of time, food, materials, and talent in support of the ride. And an extra-special thank you to all of my supporters, both monetary and emotional ... I could not do this without you!
