Cancer has touched nearly every one of us. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, a colleague, or our own diagnosis, its impact is lasting. Each of us carries a story — of strength, of loss, and of hope.

Progress in cancer treatment and survival is only possible through focused, relentless research — made real by people who believe that fighting for progress is worth it. Today, research institutions face unprecedented challenges, including threats to critical funding. Every donation counts — not just as a contribution, but as a vote: for science, for patients, and for the belief that cancer doesn’t get the final word.

This year, I’m riding in honor of “Aunt” Sandi — one of the most thoughtful, generous, creative, loyal, and radiant people I know. Her kindness reveals itself in both quiet, unseen moments and big, heartfelt gestures. Her presence warms every room she enters.

I’m also riding in loving memory of my mother, Carol Kalashian Mullen.

I ride in the Pan-Mass Challenge to honor those we’ve lost, to stand with those still fighting, and to help build a future with better outcomes — and fewer diagnoses.
