I am pleased to announce that this year I will be riding in the 2024 Pan-Mass Challenge in honor of my teammate and good buddy, Davey Hovey. Davey was diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of Brain Cancer, in October of 2015. He was just 25 years old when he was diagnosed and fought bravely through multiple surgeries, countless seizures and numerous treatments as he had every intention of “crushing” his tumor. Sadly, Davey passed away after a courageous 16-month battle.

Since its inception, Team Crus11tour (Davey's Foundation) has raised millions of dollars for brain cancer research. Team Crus11tour will be one of the largest teams in the field at this year's PMC. We will ride to carry on Davey’s legacy and continue to fight Glioblastoma. The median survival from diagnosis is about 14.6 months and two-year survival is around 30%. The money we raise will be going directly to Dana Farber in the David Hovey - CRUS11TOUR Fund, to specifically fund Glioblastoma research by Davey's doctor, Dr. David Reardon. Davey was/is the ultimate role model, and he continues to motivate all of us to fight for him and what he started.
