I’m very excited to be riding in my 12th Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) this year. Not a day passes when I don’t feel incredibly fortunate that I was able to receive such amazing treatment when I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer twelve years ago. I also feel fortunate that I’m able to continue to try to make a difference in the fight against Cancer.

When I see people close to me battling cancer and receiving amazing and innovative treatments, I feel fortunate for all of your donations that have helped make those treatments and cures a reality!

The PMC has been an incredibly fun and rewarding experience each of the ten years I’ve participated in this ride, and I could not have done it without the support of so many family and friends. I can’t thank you enough!! Equally rewarding, has been the experience of riding as a part of Team ROAR (Reindeers on a Ride). ROAR is a group of special riders who ride for so many different reasons, yet the goal is the same...bring smiles to children battling cancer during the holiday season. So, once again, On the first weekend in August, I will join more than 6,000 cyclists in the PMC ride, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston.
